“The whole property is way below average. Our floor had carpet being laid and the adhesive smell was bad. The room: lots of paste patches on the walls, unpainted; the bed was poor but the metal furniture, including the bedframe; the lamp did not have a bulb in it; the bathroom had a number of towels but only 1 bath tile, rest much smaller; the shower base had some mold issues at the back; the bath shower door would not close all the way, making large areas of wet tile, no matter how much we……

“We had a late check in around 10pm, the staff is so friendly once we walked in the hotel. This Hampton has rated the best Hampton in the nation for the past 5 years and I totally agree with the rating. The room is clean and big, the morning breakfast area is very comfortable (the food are ok). Basically it's a great hotel. The only 2 downsides are: (1) sound proof not too good (2) the pool is really tiny But it is a great stay, except for the price is a little high (we paide US$220 per night)”

“This is an excellent little gem. Important things to me: cleanliness, comfortable bed, quiet, friendly staff. Willow Lodge is a ten out of ten in all of those categories. While staying don’t forget to ask about the widows walk. There is a very nice restaurant right next to the lodge. A little pricey but the food is delicious. Make a reservation.”

“We have stayed in Quality Inn hotels before and, whilst we appreciate that this was a budget price, we did expect a certain standard of accommodation. The hotel is in dire need of care and attention. The sofa bed in the lounge was awful and the AC unit was inadequate and loud. I cannot remember a worse night of sleep. There were numerous dead insects in all rooms. I decided in the middle of night one of our two night stay to book an alternative and check out in the morning. My family were……

“Located within the historic area and convenient to waterfront, restaurants and shops. Well maintained and very clean, the free beer on tap in the quaint lobby area makes this inn a unique place. Recommended.”

“Very disappointed with our recent visit. Our encounter with office staff was not welcoming at all. An unwelcome tone no matter what the question or concern was she was rude and not accommodating at all. No sense of compassion or understanding. Our room was booked 4 months ago...never saw that the pool was closed for renovations. In person the office staff just quoted that Facebook had the update of pool closure. Searching through the Facebook page I found the pool closure (and yes 1 post..17……
